Ahem!

So, in terms of staff, we’ll be needing, again, maintainers for the link directories, and probably a couple of co-editors to help compile the news in various CLAMP fandoms. No prior experience necessary, though if you were a former directory supervisor and/or editor and are still... alive... by all means, we want you back! Just do me a favour and fill out the form below with everybody else so I can get an idea of what you’ve done in the past. :)

Name/Handle: self-explanatory

Livejournal: your LJ username

Contact info: email, AIM, ICQ, etc.

How frequently are you online? At what times? important! how much time can you devote to the comm?

Your timezone: self-explanatory

What CLAMP series have you read and/or are familiar with? * see below

What job would you be interested in? self-explanatory

Other: skilled perhaps in html, graphic design, other such?

Please fill out the above and mail to a.bar.of.soap[at]gmail[dot]com.

*CLAMP fandoms include Angelic Layer, Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, Clover, Gohou (Legal) Drug, Magic Knights Rayearth, RG Veda, Tokyo Babylon, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, X/1999, and xxxHolic. Other CLAMP works have little to no fandom and will (probably) not need particular focus. The inclusion of Code Geass is still being debated, but if you’re familiar with that fandom, by all means mention it in your application!

Further details will come through email if you are accepted.

Questions? Comments? Fire away.

I'm interested in the position of one of the link directory maintainers, but could you describe some more about what they do?

You would be in charge of compiling a list (if there isn't one already) of the links to various websites and LJ comms related to one particular CLAMP fandom, and after that maintaining the links and keeping them current, and notifying the editors of any new websites/archives that are added so they can put it in the Archives/Websites section.

Mm..that helps ;). Thank you, I'll send an app then :D.

I would like to help as co-editor but would you mind to elaborate its work responsibility first?

Right. At the moment, I'm not one hundred per-cent certain how the system will work, but I'm thinking the co-editors will probably be in charge of keeping track of information for a fandom or three (the ones they're familiar with), possibly collaborating some with the link directory supervisors, then organising it into this format as shown and sending it to the head editor (me, for the time being), who will organise all the fandoms and the html and post it, hopefully weekly.

After the newsletter gets started and more people start reading it, I'm hoping we'll be able to rely more on reader submissions so that the editors will have less work to do, but as of the first couple issues that's probably what it'll entail.

Keeping track is doable, organizing into that certain format is simple. At least I confident in doing these 2 jobs... I'll send you the application first and we can discuss later. ^_^

I sort of stumbled across this community by accident, but if it is any help, I happen to have a Magic Knight Rayearth link directory. I believe that there may still be a few links that I haven't cleaned off after Windam.net passsed away, but for the most part it is nearly ever website I have found for Rayearth.

Yes, that would be enormously helpful! Would you be interested in working for the community as well? If not, just having your directory to work off of instead of starting from scratch would be a great help. :)
